PHILADELPHIA — To expand cultural access to all this summer, the Penn Museum and the Philadelphia Museum of Art have collaborated on a limited-time offer called “Art Staycation,” which grants admission to both cultural institutions at reduced rates:

  • An adult combination ticket for both institutions is $33, offering a savings of $10.
  • A family four-pack, which covers admission to both museums for two adults and two children under 18, is $80, yielding approximately $20 in savings.
  • To include smaller-sized families, the Penn Museum is discounting its youth ticket (ages 6-17) to $10, providing a savings of $3. This discount is available with the purchase of at least one adult combination ticket or a family four-pack. Guests under 18 visit for free at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The combination tickets will be available for sale online at penn.museum/artstaycation and philamuseum.org through Labor Day, September 6, 2021. Art Staycation tickets must be redeemed by September 20, 2021 and do not have to be used on the same day.

With new Frank Gehry-designed spaces and new galleries of early American art and modern and contemporary art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, as well as recently transformed galleries at the Penn Museum highlighting Africa, Mexico, and Central America, Art Staycation is an opportunity for visitors near and far to experience Philadelphia’s cultural legacy through art, history, and world wonders.

The Penn Museum is free for its members; teachers; active-duty military, reservists, and military veterans; Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia patients and their families; CHOP employees; Penn Medicine patients and their families; Penn Medicine employees; and PennCard holders. It also offers $2 admission for ACCESS and EBT cardholders. As part of the Art Staycation partnership, PennCard holders receive $5 off admission at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is free for its members. It offers pay-what-you-wish admission on the first Sunday of the month and every Friday night from 5–8:45 pm with free admission for ACCESS and EBT cardholders and their families.
