Description | Lion. Greenish patina removed in 1966. Color of metal is now yellow with a silvery artificial dusting. Body is broken off just behind forelegs; and ends of legs were also broken off. There is a hole in the bottom for a modern nail. The lion is couchant or crouching with its front paws extended. hair of the mane is in coarse relief. |
