Description

Part of a railing pillar of red mottled sandstone of Mathura, broken into two parts at the neck of the figure. Upper part of a portion of pillar. Relief of Yaksoni. Nude female holding her hair, standing below a cornice, queer spike on head, portion below the knees is missing. There is a low post on top to fit a socket in the portion of railing above. Associated with 29-64-16 and 50.
