Description | Ring base, effigy jar. Probably turtle. Double carination. Head and tail in relief at lower carination. Plain rim. Short straight neck. Small orifice. Traces of red paint on neck and upper shoulder. Lower shoulder painted with red designs on buff. Panels of brown designs on buff set in a wide red band circling jar below carination. Nearly intact except for hole in base. |
