Description | Black slip amphora; Complete; chips missing from rim and from foot; slip badly worn; some rotting of interior surface. Low conical foot; nearly globular body; short wide straight sided neck; flat, horizontal flaring rim; 2 vertical handles from rim to shoulder. Horizontal incised lines encircling shoulder; vertical flutes on body terminating just above base. |
